Yoga asana (posture) is for me the practice of making shapes. The shapes in our bodies communicate what is going on both from the outside in and the inside out. The experience of the shape, the way of be-ing in the shape, the observation of our relationship with the shape are all speaking. It is up to us if we choose to really listen.
Going with the flow is so much easier than trying to make it work. Consider, the thought that we may be supported in what we do, have, and enjoy in this life. That all that happens may not be in our control despite our best efforts to plan the next steps. When all is working
